Product Description

Our Graphite furnace package includes the Buck 210VGP with Graphite furnace and 40 position auto sampler with 8 standard positions.

Our rear mounted furnace saves precious bench space while heating tubes 2,800 degrees C in 1.5 seconds.

The 40 position auto sampler measures the exact sample size each and every time for great reproducibility.

We throw in an Argon regulator, Matrix Modifier kit, Buck Analyst software and 3 Hollow cathode lamps and standards for free!

Unique Furnace Design :

The Model 220 GF accessory is the latest technology in PPB level analyses by graphite furnace AA. This fully integrated design uses an innovative, unique technology in a compact powerful furnace module. The quick-mount design permits rapid changeover between furnace and flame heads.

Capabilities :

The unique power supply in our furnace is capable of generating temperatures up to 2800°C in 1.5 seconds This ultra-fast heating rate provides superior sensitivity in refractory elements and carbide-forming metals. The on-board firmware gives the analytical chemist full control of all aspects of the analysis. Gas flows (external, internal, mini-internal and auxiliary are standard), data collection (integrated, real-time, peak height or absorbance area) and electronic parameters for the hollow cathode lamps and the various background correction routines can all be programmed by the operator for maximum results.

Advanced Analytical Performance

The spectrophotometer delivers high-sensitivity trace element detection with its double beam configuration and photomultiplier tube detector. Automatic wavelength selection, continuous and batch aspiration methods, and a programmable 8-lamp turret streamline workflows, enabling efficient processing of up to 1000 samples per hour with only 25 ml required per test.

Superior Safety and Reliability

Engineered for secure operation, the instrument features flame and pressure monitoring, automatic gas shut-off, and safety interlocks. These systems protect both the user and equipment, ensuring compliance with laboratory safety guidelines while supporting operations in environments between 10C to 35C and humidity below 80%.

User-Friendly Operation and Connectivity

A touchscreen LCD display simplifies data interaction, while integrated analysis software automates reporting. Data can be exported via USB, RS232, or Ethernet, making integration with laboratory networks seamless. Designed in durable stainless steel and high-quality polymer, the device is suitable for demanding lab settings.

FAQs of Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer:

Q: How does the atomic absorption spectrophotometer ensure analytical accuracy during measurements?

A: The spectrophotometer offers high accuracy ( 0.5% of reading) through its double beam design, low optical resolution (<0.2 nm), and automatic wavelength selection. The use of hollow cathode lamps and a photomultiplier tube enhances sensitivity and minimizes background interference, ensuring reliable quantitative results.

Q: What safety features are included in the AAS-2011plus to protect users and equipment?

A: Key safety features include flame monitoring, pressure monitoring, automatic gas shut-off, auto ignition, and safety interlocks. These mechanisms continuously track operational parameters and prevent unsafe conditions during operation, safeguarding both users and the spectrophotometer.

Q: When is it preferable to use air-acetylene versus air-nitrous oxide flame types?

A: Air-acetylene is typically used for analyzing elements at lower temperatures, while air-nitrous oxide is suitable for detecting refractory elements requiring higher flame temperatures. The instrument supports both, allowing users to select the optimal flame for their sample and application.

Q: Where can the data from the spectrophotometer be exported or integrated for further analysis?

A: Measured data can be exported through USB, RS232, or Ethernet ports, enabling integration with laboratory information management systems or external computers for advanced processing, storage, or reporting.

Q: What is the process for analyzing a sample using the AAS-2011plus?

A: Sample analysis involves aspirating a 25 ml liquid sample into the flame via continuous or batch methods. Element-specific hollow cathode lamps emit light at programmable wavelengths, and the photomultiplier tube detects the absorbance, which is then quantified and reported by the integrated software.

Q: How does the integrated analysis and reporting software benefit laboratory operations?

A: The software simplifies workflows by automating data analysis, producing reliable reports, and facilitating batch management. This reduces manual processing time, minimizes errors, and allows laboratories to handle large volumesup to 1000 samples per hourwith improved efficiency.
